While sorting through my make up collection today, I realised I've never actually finished a whole tube/container/bottle of foundation. The closest I've come to finishing is my Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (See Below). You can tell I still have a fair bit left of this, and yet, I won't even finish this due to the shade now being too dark for me. I've ordered a new one (before project pan started) in 51 to match my current skin tone - hopefully this 52 shade may come in handy next summer when I hopefully get a little more colour.
So, what foundations am I currently loving you ask?
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B10
I love everything about this foundation - though I do see it as more of a summer foundation, and now winter is coming I want something with a bit more coverage that can survive the winter days. It's a very light refreshing foundation - when I apply it, it feels more like I'm applying a cleanser in the respect of how light it is.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 51
I used to have this in 52, but the colour is also too dark for me now. I used to wear this a lot before I got my new Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. I didn't want to buy a new Chanel while I was moving, as I couldn't justify spending £32 on a foundation so this is a great alternative and was amazing in the early months of the year.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation shade 100
This is currently pride of place in my make up bag. I love how 'awake' it makes my skin look. I wish it was a little lighter though, as the shade range doesn't cater for people with really pale skin. This doesn't leave an orange line on my face, though it doesn't look as natural as I'd like. This provides a bit more coverage for the winter months, and I'll continue to use them.
Even though these aren't foundations, here's what I've been loving over summer!
No7 Triple Protection - Tinted Moisturiser in Fair
During summer I alternated between this and Natural Collection when I wanted a tinted moisturiser. I used this a lot more on the sunny days due to the SPF and UVA protection. This provides more coverage than the Natural Collection, but Natural collection looks more, well, natural.
